As the term implies, these bugs are a benefit to your garden and an example of a natural pesticide. They may assist with pollination or destroy pesky pests, including slugs, spider mites, mealybugs, and aphids.
Examples of beneficial insects include ladybugs, assassin bugs, earwigs. To create a welcoming habitat for beneficial insects, provide native flowers and plants, and avoid toxic pesticides.
